An old family friend and colleague of my father's and brother's has died. Morris Rosenberg, a former foreign correspondent in Europe and Latin America and lecturer in journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill died of cancer yesterday at the age of 87. A gentle and courtly man, he was a consummate professional with a sharp mind. He leaves his wife Lucie, two daughters and a son-in-law, two grandchildren, a large extended family, and many friends and colleagues.
