I hiked up there -- well, I d...Isn't it beautiful? I hiked up there -- well, I drove to the bottom of the trail and then hiked, it was a mini-hike. It's in the same general part of the state as your grandparents'. I'm new to NC (moved here in late summer 2005) and hadn't had a chance just to hang out in the Western part of the state, and it seemed like a fine place to get some R&R. I spent a day in Asheville, too.
