... and the orange on the Seder plate.

As for the orange on the Seder plate, for years I heard an inaccurate story about it, and it's not that old a story! This is how fast we humans can distort a simple narrative. A few years ago I found out the original orange-on-the-Seder-plate story.

The real scoop is instructive.
