Reverence and vengeance
Zach Roberts, the Baptist campus minister at UNCG (University of North Carolina at Greensboro), offered a fine reflection last week at a meditative memorial service for the people killed at Virginia Tech. I found his contrast between reverence and revenge compelling and I commend it to you. I was not at the service, but heard the reflection when Zach's Episcopal colleague shared it with the congregation on Sunday . Have a look.
