You know I couldn't resist

Enough with the seriousness.

I actually took this last night. Tonight I could end up Hungarian, who knows. But I am off to get some rest. Tomorrow: a mouse tale. I'm counting on you cat bloggers to show up.

Your Inner European is Russian!

Mysterious and exotic.
You've got a great balance of danger and allure.

P.S. Took it again and changed the food and the food only. Twice. Both times I ended up with this. The food wasn't Dutch, I swear!

Your Inner European is Dutch!

Open minded and tolerant.
You're up for just about anything.

  1. Gee, I dunno. Just for the halibut I switched "Lots of talking (and arguing) over coffee" to "Smoking a little weed with some friends" (no, for Big Brother's edification I don't actually do that nowadays), only that one, and went from Swedish to Dutch. Nah, I suspect my inner European is more likely Costa Rican or Belizian... :o)

    Top o' the mornin ',

  2. Sir Francis,

you appear to be onto something (of course it's not a double-entendre); I changed only "coffee and chat" to "smoking up with friends" and went from Italian/ French to Dutch.

  3. I chose wine and opera, and all I changed was the food. The borscht and caviar made me Russian, the falafel and Asian noodles and the fish and veggies made me Dutch! In all cases I had the little car to zip around the city, the wine and opera, and the shorelines and countryside.

Now why are we spending more time on this than on the progressive synagogue in St. Petersburg? (See below.)

Silliness must be a basic human need.

I almost picked coffee and chat, one of my favorites, but I wouldn't do it on a night out, for this one must have wine and food, and there was no "wine and chat" option. Speaking of which, JohnieB, I had a very nice glass of South African white wine last night. I am not a white wine person but this went with the meal. Mix of Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc if I am remembering correctly.

  4. I like a greater variety of Reds; my White choices tend to be more restricted.

I didn't like the wording of some; "a night out" should involve eating, drinking, music, and good talk, though emphasis may fall on one or more on a specific occasion: just so long as something is special.

Silliness must be a basic human need. Absolutely, though the slideshow from the St. Petersburg synagogue was delightful.
