Friday cat blogging: winter nap
Taken two months ago, but the pose and mood are almost the same as tonight, except that she's curled with her head to the right and is on the desk in front of me under the lamp, where she is warm and I can see her as I write.Click to enlarge.
Cats are wonderful except when you are writing or trying. Mine, the Great Orange Monster, leaps up into my lap and will not move. Fifteen pounds of cat has a way of blocking access to the keyboard. Ah well, he's cool anyway.
Miss Scarlett, as she seems to be calling herself still, is horrified at the thought of being fifteen pounds and orange, so I told her not to think about it.
Thanks for filling in the word verification so that we know you're not a robot.

Cats make avid companions for writers what with their lights and warm computer consoles to lay on...
ReplyDeleteMy dad had a big old desktop and his feline companion used to sleep on top of his monitor while he wrote.

ReplyDeleteOh, she's like Miss Agatha Birch Funky Paws, except your kitty has white paws. Super perch for her.
