Mourning the war dead

FranIAm has a moving video up today. See it here. As Fran rightly notes, Lent is a time of lament. This was part of my point in "Ashes and Weeping," too. Thank you, Fran, for your witness and for inviting us to stop and look, and weep and pray. And for inviting us to act, since lament is the beginning of protest.
