Cloning a pet pit bull. And his name was Booger.
I'd rant and do a theo-ethical analysis, but I have reports to write, and I spent part of the morning praying the Lorica and I think I'll stay there. All y'all do the talking.
A Saturday P.S.: FranIAm, bless her heart, has posted on this and started and discussion about it over at her place. Do visit.
I just figured out that we can have our aging dog, Cid, forever! All we need is a smidgen of tissue and we can keep recreating him! The only problem is he won't be our dog: he'll be a copy but the soul (for I believe animals have them) is unique, and we'll ever see its like again.
ReplyDeleteHow vain, vulgar, and stupid. Get a shelter dog that needs your love, not a freaking accessory to your life.
I am in complete agreement and just posted about this topic. (and linking to you dear Jane!)
ReplyDeleteThis speaks deeply to our wounds as a society- about letting go, transformation, vanity, narcissistic behavior and more.

Well, the cost could come down to $50,000.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking that praying the Lorica is a far better thing. Thanks for the link, Jane.
