Oh my God, how great is this guy!! My first exposure to Ian Anderson...in 1987 (I am a late-bloomer) I was having one of my insomnia attacks, and decided to go to work at 1 AM. I was driving the 50 miles from home to work, me alone on the road, and an all-night NY rock station was playing Jethro Tull. I was enthralled. Something about Anderson and the flute in the darkness made a forever-impression.
ReplyDeleteI wuz gonna say... Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull??? I'm afraid I must "start away uneasy."
ReplyDeleteNo, he's lovely actually.
And did you know that Bourré with one "e" is a popular card game in Louisiana? It's kinda like easy Bridge.
