    MP, you are being so virtuous that I hereby award you 500 hours off Purgatory (a vain and romish thing as the Articles say, but a useful notion) or even 700 if you need them. Just do not confuse Purgatory with France, even though you are English.

    Of course you're not surprised, Jane, m'dear. Only temperance pledges have kept me from doing all sorts of nasty things to my bod for quite a few years now--and as for the youthful sweeties in Amsterdam...I don't speak Dutch. Oh my.
