Saberi freed on appeal

I had a hunch this would happen, and it did. Good.

Off three to second of two all-day department planning meetings (a.k.a. "retreat").

Four more days and we are "off the clock."

    Indeed. I do think the decision was politically motivated, but (as an observer noted on NPR this evening) I hope it will give some visibility to other Iranians who are imprisoned, and that we will not forget them. Some are bloggers, by the way.
