Contemplation, winter day

This is a country whose center is everywhere
and whose circumference is nowhere.
You do not find it by traveling but by standing still.
Yet it is in this loneliness that the deepest activities begin.
It is here that you discover act without motion,
labor that is profound repose,
vision in obscurity,
and, beyond all desire,
a fulfillment whose limits extend to infinity.

  2. Lovely, and so nice to see you blogging. Acts of Hope is on my favorites at work but I had fallen into the habit of only checking about once a month. I shall be more diligent now.

Happy Year, Jane and +Maya! May blessing upon blessing come your way in 2011.

  4. Hi Jane!
I put a picture of your book on my blog yesterday. I found my copy on Amazon featured as a recommendation based on all my book buying! It's such a treasure, I'm hoping other people I know pick it up for its abundant blessings. I hope you are having a peaceful and encouraging day.
