Guillermo del Toro, of "Pan's Labyrinth" fame, will make the film version of The Hobbit.And of course the French had the cultural scoop. Hasn't hit the English-language headlines yet.
There will be two movies, presumably Hobbit Part One and Hobbit Part Two.
