Alert, NC and TX voters

If you are headed for Early Voting and if you vote a straight Democratic ticket, your presidential vote may not be counted. Seriously. Not a crazy internet piece of spam. Have a look at the post and link over at Paul the BB's place.

Please call your local people and local campaign about this.

    Thanks for passing the word along, Jane. When I read about it I thought the one thing I can do is inform people and trust they pass the word. Thanks to you many more have found about it.

    We voted yesterday in Black Mountain (just outside Asheville), and the poll workers were very careful to point out to *everyone* that voting a straight ticket didn't include a vote for president, so be sure to check both boxes.
