The night I posted this picture at my place, I just sat there and cried.
This is a sea-change for our country.
God, I just remembered something. Not too long after the Rodney King verdict (back in '92) I met up with my brother for dinner in NYC. He was very upset, because he had overheard two young Black men talking to each other and one said to the other, "I guess they just really hate us."
May the little boy in this picture never, ever feel that way. (Amen.)
