Have had a few computer difficulties...
... which are getting resolved relatively fast thanks to the wonderful people at the college IT office (who also are some of my favorite staff people on campus, and that includes the student workers there) but happened on my longest work day of the week. We are in the last week of classes, and then begins the paper-reading and grading marathon.

Glad that your issues are being resolved. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteI pray that the angels of grading and reading are on your shoulders- both massaging those shoulders and helping speed you process along!
xoxoxo
Hell, there's nothing silly about paper-grading. Migraine-inducing, surely, especially when your putative students don't remember that "research paper" means sources and footnotes. One in fact took a book called The Lovely Bones and turned it into a four page diatribe about how she hates men. I'm supposed to grade this?
ReplyDeleteMIS? The Raritan email system has been down for 26 hours now. They are PROMISING it will be fixed. Uh-huh.
I hate technology!
ReplyDeleteOh my -- I briefly graded at the mid-school level and that was enough. I found a happier home in IT and am glad they are favorites. Glad you're back up and running.
