BabyBoy & SweetieCat send you great mrrrwwweeeooowsssss and happiness in your new found love, affection, and happiness together! You are made for each other!
Maya, that quilt was made for my mother by her best friend from college (Hunter College, NYC, class of '39) in the early 1970s. My parents gave it to me several years ago. So it has a nice family history. And the cat looks very pretty on it. And comfortable!
OT, I have the Diana Eck book you mentioned in the sidebar, courtesy of my former prof Peter Gardella (whom I believe you know.) She is very optimistic!

Jane, she's a beauty. And you like Maya, and Maya likes you, and Maya likes your quilt. Sounds like one happy family.
A real beauty: you're both lucky to have found one another.
Dassa pretty kitteh!
Very pretty kitteh. Nice personality too.
Her latest is Kitty TV: watching the birds and squirrels from the window here. Keeps her occupied for hours.

What a beautiful cat. Extremely intelligent eyes.

Dear PJ (sorry it has taken me so long to reply -- I did read your comment lo those many weeks ago but life has been nuts in the land of academe),
Yes, she is optimistic. I have also had my students read Eboo Patel's new book -- have a look at it and let me know what you think...
Thanks for dropping in. Always nice to read you.
