At that time she was perfectly quiet. Sometimes she makes little grunting sounds. Sometimes she makes sounds and flicks her tail. She has a different sound for birds and for squirrels, I think, and another one for lizards, which drive her nuts because they crawl right on the windowsill, so they are very close and she wants to go after them. They are mostly on the study window, not the bathroom window. The bathroom window is higher so it's more of a viewing tower :-).

My cats pose in the same way. Does Maya talk to the birds? My younger cat likes to grunt at them every now and then.
