A friend writes that she was in Pittsburgh for several days and saw an amazing exhibit of glass works by Dale Chihuly. Have a look! Once you're on the site, click on "Exhibition Overview" first to get a feel for the whole thing.
And living in Tacoma as I do, it's great fun to go by the federal courthouse where all sorts of Chihuly hangs from the ceiling and the Glass Museum right across the way... it's a great art form. And DALE it is.
This is so cool! There's something about the juxtaposition of colored glass and light... This particular one looks like exploding spaghetti from space. :)

Sweet!
BTW, the exhibit gives his name as "Dale Chihuly".
His name's Dale.

Hey, thanks for the edit! See what happens when I try to pack and blog at the same time?! I've corrected the post.
Am in Portland now -- see last night's Irenaeus post for why. Much travel in coming week so may not blog much. Be well, all.

The Flying Spaghetti Monster Icon?
Yikes -- I got to see that in Pittsburgh. Much better venue for the stuff than the Chihouly museum in Tacoma, its apparent home base.
