It's a small bloggy world
At the CTSA conference (the Catholic Theological Society of America, whose Annual Meeting I am attending) is none other than Mother Laura of Junia's Daughter fame, who received the annual award for a work by an emerging scholar. I didn't know her last name from the blog, only her first name (which is Laura, not Mother), but as I was listening to the announcement and applauding I saw her all the way across the ballroom-size meeting room and recognized her from her blog photo. It was fun to go over and meet in person. Congratulations, Laura!
