Ten Commandments about Iraq

I hate to displace the little ducks at the head of the day, so I will keep this short.

From Salon.com: Iraq: The ten commandments. In honor of Charlton Heston, here are 10 lessons we should engrave on our foreign policy tablets as we prepare to leave Iraq. By Gary Kamiya. Read it here. At least someone is talking common sense.

Most excellent, Jane. I had to showcase it too (with credit to you) because this is too fine - and we DO need to learn it.

I wonder why I didn't write that. It strikes me as the reasonable response to the news of the last seven years.

Not before time, either.

Can I add an 11th?

Don't let attention-seeking British Prime Ministers, share the "glory". Their people don't appreciate arse-licking.

Jane, thanks for the link. I already knew the commandments, but it's good to have them orderly and listed all in one place. Perhaps those who break them repeatedly will read them and take them to heart.

OT, but I have a little gift for you at my place.
