Shabbat Shalom

After a truly insane week including last night's lovely session in my office till 2 a.m. (you read that right) finishing up the infamous interdisciplinary course proposal, I am headed for Shabbat dinner with friends who are the parents of Elijah, and thus with Elijah himself. Elijah has Jewish and Baptist and other religious families in his immediate heritage, so Shabbat isn't the only celebration in his life, but it is a regular one, and I am very happy to be sharing it tonight.
