The night I posted this picture at my place, I just sat there and cried.
This is a sea-change for our country.
God, I just remembered something. Not too long after the Rodney King verdict (back in '92) I met up with my brother for dinner in NYC. He was very upset, because he had overheard two young Black men talking to each other and one said to the other, "I guess they just really hate us."
May the little boy in this picture never, ever feel that way. (Amen.)

Lady Jane,
Assuming you haven't already heard the story, when was the last time you had an opportunity to vote for a candidate that once gave $100 to a stranger?
Story at http://leishacamden.blogspot.com/2008/10/not-that-it-matters.html
Like Obi-Wan-Kenobi, I believe he's our only hope.
